Adventures in Photoshop
Aug. 6th, 2011 05:46 pm I'm not that skilled at editing my sims photos (or any photos, for that matter) yet, but I'm trying to learn. I recently made a couple of sims for a tumblr-buddy who likes to play "Berry" rainbow legacies - basically one places lots of rainbow-hued sims in a neighborhood and plays to see what kind of ~drama~ can ensue. I like thought it'd be some good sim-making practice, so I made two for her - one tangerine-colored male and one icy-blue-green-colored female.
After I took some photos of them, I quit and then had to figure out how to cut out the background. I'd made it a fugly pink-purple on purpose so I'd have to change it. So, I learned how to use the quick select and refine edge tools...which, though they didn't completely eliminate the purple, did an amazing job of it.
Here's one shot. The others are under the cut.

( more experiments after the jump )
